Once we were confident it was appropriate, we interviewed the amnesic man found in the park where he was reported missing last week. An excerpt from that interview follows:
Interviewer: You believe you’ve been gone for how long?
Andre: Years at least.
(Pause in the conversation)
Andre: Don’t
Conductor! A conductor of automobiles.
A bus flies through the misty air with no one around to care
No one except the conductor, of course!
Can you imagine what else he might conduct, in flux, with baton twirling thus?
I would go ask him, but I just got hit by
There is a place, fellow traveler, that is so thin it appears as nothing but a ghost. In this place, everything is fleeting: time, consciousness, the taste of pumpkin pie. It’s easy to overlook the worth of a place like this, but when you make the time to appreciate
At Long Last, The Watcher Arrives at the Golden Fields
At long last I came to the Golden Fields. I expected feelings of relief and fulfillment, but instead felt a gnawing hunger. A Reaper approached me and handed me a scythe.
Reaper: Welcome, Watcher. We have long expected you. With this tool you can reap to your heart’s content.
At an uncertain time, the Grave-Keeper accidentally stumbled Outwith. They looked around, pulling off their hood for clarity, and were confused — this is a place they didn’t know could exist.
Outwither: Haven’t seen your kind before.

"There is a place deep in the Ozark mountains of Arkansas where faeries exist. Ask any local and they will likely deny their belief, but take the time to get to know them, earn their trust, and you’ll be surprised what truths they divulge."
“Dreams provide a perspective to unseen aspects of the nature around us. In order to reveal some obscured truth, your best chance is to do so under the unobstructed view of an unfettered celestial body. If you draw an appropriate symbol (see the figures later in this text), and use
I came upon a rising sea, and watched as it swallowed everything around me.

My soul and I went to the Great Lake to bathe. As I began submerging my feet to my ankles, my soul tapped me on the shoulder and pointed down the shoreline. I saw another person wading into the lake. I shouted to them.
I: Be careful! This lake is
Standing there in the shade of that infinite place, I discovered the Secret of Life — that which is unknowable and yet at the same time all I knew. Forever would I search for the secret I already carried, that I already knew, yet never be able to explain. Life’s
I approached the simple, stone well at the center of the grove. Darkness surrounded me. I stared for a moment. Suddenly, a bright light…no a bright reflection? A glowing mirror appeared before me and I saw a vision.
In this vision I stood on the banks of a great
"The forest that covers The Well is at once tranquil and distressing. The distinction between Strange and Normal, Shallow and Deep, become tangled up with one another — a non-euclidean space expressed in a paradoxical, Euclid-approved form.”
While manifesting, if the Llama’s bottom jaw is rotating in a clockwise fashion (from its perspective) it is manifesting healing, helpful spirits, or the frustratingly vague concept of luck.
If the Llama’s bottom jaw is rotation in a counter-clockwise fashion, however, (again, from the Llama’s perspective) it
Chewing on magical foci is how “Llamas” (as I will continue to call them) manifest. Powerful foci include Asafetida, Bloodroot, and Passionflower, though the creatures will often use more common foci like Corn Husks.
“It is difficult to compare accounts, as no single person has seen more than their own village, but from what I can gather (despite their eerie tinges) these villages don’t seem like such bad places to be stuck for eternity.”
