We’re home from PAX West and back to work on The Final Cut of Lilith Cunningham! Welcome to those of you who took the time to visit us at the PAX Rising booth, chat with the team, play our demo, and sign up for this very newsletter!

We gathered extremely useful feedback from talking with attendees and stealthily watching over their shoulders. The response to Lilith has been simply amazing, and the kind words and valuable reflections from nearly 1,000 people who visited us have been entirely energizing.

Let’s hear what they had to say after playing the demo! (This is a sneak peek for newsletter subscribers before we publish it widely next week!)

Now that we’re in full-swing on our path to next year’s release, expect to be hearing from us more frequently! We’ll be sharing additional vignettes (including some narrated and set against video… like the one below!), sharing updates on development, and giving you little teases along the way.

We also welcomed content creators and members of the media throughout the weekend. IGN included us as one of the games they loved at PAX West! We brought home one of a small number of SideQuesting Team Choice Awards and we were named Game of Show by The Content Mill’s Gianni DiCrosta.

The response to Lilith has been glowing across the board… but don’t take our word for it. Here’s what the critics are saying!

“Even with its brief teaser of what's to come, The Final Cut of Lilith Cunningham is building an eerie, mesmerizing mystery thriller that delivers on its retro-adventure concept.” IGN

“The Final Cut of Lilith Cunningham wears its influences proudly on its sleeve, and there's a lot for Alan Wake 2 and Twin Peaks fans to love here. I played the first twenty minutes or so, and really enjoyed how it toed that delicate line between being creepy and just a little bit zany.”Lookingfor.game (veteran journalist Lucy James’ newsletter)

“This one instantly hooked me when it started with some live-action cutscenes that quickly introduced similar vibes to some of my favorite video games and films. From there, it just kept getting better.”Rely on Horror

“...the manner in which FMV was utilized makes this one of the most novel indie titles I've seen in some time.” Shacknews

“It's clever, creepy, & I.WANT.MORE.”Lydlbutton (Content Creator)
